The Old Time News! All but six editions available to those of you who were slow to catch on! Something of a trip down memory lane for the rest of us. Some of the older ones are slightly incomplete, as these were produced in some strange software called Ye Olde Worde, which seemed to be rather absent minded! All as PDF files.

Words, words, words, words! Pete Budd has compiled this wonderful collection of old time lyrics, including some variations, and has kindly agreed to make it available here. In PDF format and large print to make it clearer through the alcoholic haze!

This is the tune we worked on with Ben Paley at Gainsborough 2004. It came as a GIF. To print it it is often easiest to insert the image into a blank Word document, because this should automatically resize the image for you.

Here is some banjo tab from the playing of Dianne Jones who gave a workshop after the Gainsborough Festival 2003. The tab was prepared by Dave Dry and Bob Little. Each tune is available in two formats, an image (jpeg) and also as a 'Tabledit' (tef) file. The former can be viewed on your web browser and printed out. The latter needs some tab software which can be downloaded FREE from:
http://www.tabledit.com/tefview/index.shtml

The Webmaster has no knowledge of the tab software but will pass on any desperate pleas for help to Bob Little, who will no doubt be happy to commiserate with you.

These tunes are from Ben Paley from his Gainsborough workshop. I think Apple Blossom was the main tune we all worked on. These images didn't resize too well!
